Information on current construction sites in Rossau
Sewer work in Gumppstrasse
IKB is adapting the sewer system in Gumppstraße in several construction phases until the end of 2026. In the current construction phases, this concerns the Gumppstraße - Andechsstraße intersection. The excavation work required in connection with the construction work will lead to the following traffic restrictions at the Gumppstraße - Andechsstraße junction over the next few months:
Construction phase 6: Start March 23, 2026
- Coming from the north: No turning possible from Andechsstraße into Gumppstraße heading east. Detour via Lange Weg:
- No turning possible from Gumppstraße into Andechsstraße heading south.
Construction phase 7: Construction expected to start on April 7, 2026
- Restrictions as in construction phase 6
- additionally for cyclists: short pushing section in the Gumppstraße construction pit area.

From 23.03. to 18.12.2026 there will also be changes to local public transport (out of town) due to the construction site:
Line C - detour in the direction of Luigenstraße:
- There will be a detour from the Langstraße stop and the Schutzengelkirche, Egerdachstraße, Andechsstraße and Lönsstraße stops will be canceled.
- Access: Langstraße stop or Geyrstraße stop.
Line F - detour in the direction of Rum Bahnhof:
- There will be a detour from the Pradler Straße stop and the Rennerschule, Schutzengelkirche and Egerdachstraße stops will be omitted.
- Access: Pradler Straße stop, Mitterhoferstraße on line R or Andechsstraße.
Line R (via Geyrstraße) - detour in the direction of DEZ Süd:
- From the stop St. Pirmin/Volkshaus via Langer Weg. The Andechsstraße stop is no longer available.
- Replacement stop: at Langer Weg 9.
